Gatherings Banquet and Event Center, owned by Anthony “Tony” Carbone Sr. since 2013, says he has seen a lot of change in the hospitality industry. Since the pandemic, Tony made beautiful renovations to the space by updating the flooring, repainting the walls, and giving the bar an elegant, modernized look. Currently here in 2024, he and his staff are excited to see what is in store for the future and to work with clients, making their event visions come to life. 

Carbone’s family actively helps with the running of his business(es). Anthony Carbone Jr. books and plans banquet events, as well as takes care of his restaurant, Town & Country Family Restaurant and Lounge, located in front of the Banquet Center. His youngest, Valerie Carbone, coordinates and runs the events and does her part to ensure they flow smoothly. His oldest daughter, Nicole Carbone, has over 8 years of experience in the printing business, On Target Printing (located at 1319 W. State St. New Castle, PA 16101) as well as time spent as a server at the banquet facility.

Those at On Target assist banquet clients with invitations and other prints needed to make your event special. They are able to do virtually any job, big or small, and will listen to what you want to ensure you are satisfied with the finished product. As a bonus, we offer 20% off all printing when you book your event at Gatherings! Tony is also very grateful for his wonderful staff who have stuck with him through it all. He says that Colleen, Julie, Marsha, and Jodi are like family, and he thanks them for all of their hard work and support throughout the years and they stick by him to this day.

Gatherings has the ability to accommodate up to 250 people with all-inclusive pricing. Other facilities will often charge for cookie displays, cake cutting, and table linens/napkins. Instead, we have an all-inclusive price, and that’s it, convenient and a money saver! There are several different buffet packages offered to an array of events from business meetings to wedding receptions. Our prices are not hidden, and we include everything from set-up to tear-down.

The banquet staff also have experience in graduations, class reunions, bridal/baby showers, holiday/birthday parties, and more! Gatherings additionally is looking forward to another year of their traditional holiday buffets for Easter, Mother’s Day, and Thanksgiving.
